POETESS LAGNA PANY WRITES, CINDERS

POETIC TWILIGHT'S

 POETESS LAGNA PANY

WRITES

CINDERS

The letters flew in black smoke
cinders and splinters alike, but
What failed to leave
was the ink,
which the letters bore
Trickling o'er my fingers
It flowed against the coast
Painted my heart a midnight blue
to where tis hurt the most
A gone yonder reverie
like a waft of stale chimney
Weighed down by winter air
huffing thru a blackened console
stuck 'tween few layers of dust
who broken the shackles today?!
A thought, so bereft
barren
a moor but look, and
Remember, do you?
the sapling we planted
has finally borne fruit,
We both did see the sweet pulp
Atop the thorny tree
I care not for thorns
I care sure for thee
So I burn your letters
and let'em fly in glee
